My first feeling is shock. I think I still may be in that category! haha. After the shock, there is excitement for our new adventure, followed by sadness for what we are leaving behind. We have some amazing friends here, and they will be missed. The girls have made some awesome friends as well, and I know that they will miss them. The relationships are the hardest part of relocating. The greatest part about the friends that we have here, I can say with confidence that we have made friends for life.
Our little family is so full of life. We are ready for the next adventure that God has in store for us.
And my job, to take care of our family. These 3 little girls make me proud. Don't get me wrong, they are beautiful, sweet, loving, and so much fun, BUT they are a lot of work!!!! My priority through this relocation is to be sure that I do everything I can to make their transition smooth. They share in my excitement for adventure, but also will miss their friends, school & activities (which is understandable). I know that they will love the next chapter in their lives, and I will be here to support them every step of the way.
These are just a few of the photos that we had taken last month. They were taken at Balboa Park in San Diego, which is such a gorgeous place. I am so happy that we had these done. A little piece to remember of San Diego, which we love.

First!! Haha! I just had to say that! Wow. What an adventure your family has been on the last 3 years! I hope everything goes smoothly. Will you be moving before or after Christmas?
We will be moving the day after Christmas! :)
Again, I LOVE Seattle, and the pace of life that it has to offer. NOT to mention the seasons. Ah beautiful! I will have to give you a list of some fun places to take the girls with snacks included! :) Great pictures, I love Balboa Park too....Ok, San Diego in general! See you tomorrow!
oh my gosh, these photos are amazing, Danielle! LOVE them!! i'm sorry you have to add so much change to your life, i know it must be hard! i dealt with that a lot as a kid. my dad built houses, and we moved every year. we stayed in the same town, but each year i went to a new school. i think that's why i'm so quiet and shy now! (well, part of the reason) anyway...i agree, Seattle will be such a weather shock for you guys. i would give anything to live somewhere warm and sunny!! good luck with everything. sending hugs!
