10.31.11

As I got ready for bed on the eve of Halloween, it crossed my mind that we had not taken the girls to the pumpkin patch this year.  The big girls didn't seem to have much interest, so it just did not make it into our very busy schedule.  Well, as I was getting ready for bed, I started feeling guilty that I have a 2 year old that did not get to enjoy the pumpkin patch this year.  We woke up on Monday morning, took the girls to school & headed to the farm.  Hayden was super excited, and I was really excited to spend some one on one time with her at the farm.  We went through the corn maze, where she stayed close to me at all times.  We had fun looking at pumpkins, climbing on hay bales, and her favorite part, the petting zoo.

Hayden immediately made a friend in the "baby goat", as she called him/her?  The bigger goats she was a little more hesitant of, but the baby goat, she loved!

We must have been in the petting area for 20-30 minutes, and towards the end she was more and more comfortable with the "big goats".  I came prepared with quarters, so we had lots of food for the goats.
I just loved watching her excitement.

We had a wonderful day at the farm, and I am so glad that we had that time together.
Hayden and I picked up 2 very excited girls from school that afternoon.  Madison & Morgan were so excited to dress up and enjoy their Halloween festivities.

So, I had planned on taking pictures of the girls before the sun went down, so I did not have to use my flash, BUT....that did not happen.  So, here are the few pictures I was able to get of them before we went trick-or-treating.  We have a minnie mouse, a pirate princess & Angelica (from Pirates of the Caribbean 4).
